Feel It…

All there is to do

Is to feel it–

Golden willow stands

Her branches

Cascading beauty

In yellow green leaves.

All there is to do

Is to stand

And feel it–

The graceful sweep

Of your sad tide

Tears falling

Warmth churns up inside

Curl around

In the roaming tendril

That is loneliness

But when you can

Dear One,

Please be sure and

Let it go.

Thank you for your reading and commenting. I appreciate it…I think I will go see if I have a photo of the willow I was thinking about to add.

Another beautiful poem! Sad that everyone isn’t able to connect with nature and express feelings this way.

Ha! I used to get a whipping with weeping willow branches. How unfunny. But, I still like the tree nevertheless, and I like your poem as well.

Beautiful poem. I agree. Feel emotions. Feel them deeply and weep. But use those tears to cleanse, remember, and develop compassion. And, as you wrote, when you can, let it go. Thanks for sharing.
