Sadie’s Novel

Sadie lives in the glory of her own story

Letting snickers and stares fall ash to pavement

While she crafts her work with the care of a mother picking breakfast fruit

Chosing words for clarity, strength and ripe sweet

Chosing form that rings with her own gleaming truth

There is no loneliness in it

All who criticize fade in the glow

While others, attracted by her story’s light, bring gifts–

Compliments and kind words Sadie then edits into each and every page.

Dear One,

Life waits for you to write your own story

All you need to do is chose the words you like

Surround yourself with those who love you

And let everything else fade away.

Care and stare has a subtle sweetness. Oh, and I come bringing gifts. These words, like wild berries and forest roots are free to eat and free to offer. Even to oneself, while the delicacies of others fade to disinterest. Thanks for sharing your harvest, I am interested,
I love the spirit in your flow of thought. I and I will continue to return for more…
