Sadie’s Many Morning Walks

Sadie’s face glowed

Her body tingled

As Sadie strolled outside

She knew

She was held in the day

It had taken practice

For it was not long ago

When Sadie spent her morning walks

Tears falling down her face

And even later

After a few months of practice

Sadie still felt

As she spent her walks

Admiring the sparkling beauty

All around her

This was new

That Sadie felt the wind

As breath on her cheeks

And felt the loving arms

Of the sun

As they reached down

Warmth all around her

As Sadie watched the rose

Grow up toward her

She heard it say,

“I love you Sadie

I am so glad you have

One with our day.”
